Plumbing Inspection in Raywick, KY
Raywick is settled. Only 10% of owner households moved in during 2018 or later, which means most of the plumbing here has not been looked at by anybody in a long time.
The one-paragraph answer
Homes in Raywick rarely change hands — only 10% of owner households moved in during 2018 or later — so an inspection there is usually of a house somebody has lived in for years. The buried sewer lateral is still outside both published standards of practice.

When Raywick moved in
The consequence of a low turnover figure is not that the housing is worse. It is that far fewer people here have ever had a third party examine their plumbing, and the ones who did, did it a long time ago.
| Owner households in Raywick | Share of all owners |
|---|---|
| Moved in 2021 or later | 1% |
| Moved in 2018–2020 | 9% |
| Moved in 2010–2017 | 31% |
| Moved in before 2010 | 59% |

Universe: 509 occupied housing units, of which 440 are owner-occupied. This counts when the CURRENT occupant moved in, so it measures recent moves as a share of the housing stock — not a rate of sales per year.
What the inspection will not cover
The water heater is covered in some detail by both standards — and InterNACHI is equally explicit that nobody is required to measure its capacity, temperature or adequacy, or to test the relief valve. It is looked at, not operated.

What it is required to cover
The covered list is shorter than the excluded one and it is not thin. Every fixture run, every toilet flushed, the drain-waste-vent system described, the water heater and its venting examined, the shut-offs located. That is a real morning of work and it is worth knowing it happened.
The full list of obligations is published here. Reading it once is what stops a standard note from looking like a finding.
What to do about it
Write down where the main water shut-off and the main fuel shut-off are. InterNACHI requires both locations to be described, and they are the two most useful lines in the document.
Everything above comes from documents you can read yourself: the exclusions, the requirements, and why a camera down the lateral is never part of it.
